Runs locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or sent to a server.

Type or paste into Your text, choose a handwriting font, and click Download PDF to get your text as handwriting pages. The converter wraps text across A4 or Letter sheets and also exports PNG or JPG images. Choose six bundled fonts or open a local font, then adjust paper, ink, margins, spacing, and Natural variation. Text and local font files stay on your device; bundled fonts load from this site.

How do you turn typed notes into handwriting pages?

Paste your notes into Your text, choose Font and Paper, and review the automatic Preview before clicking Download PDF. You get handwriting-style pages rather than editable handwritten text. For a reproducible example, enter the numbers 1 through 25 on separate lines. Leave Font size at 28, Line spacing at 1.8, Page margin at 40, Page size at A4, and Paper at White.

These settings give a line pitch of 28 × 1.8 = 50.4 pixels. The first baseline is 40 + 28 = 68 pixels from the top. The page holds floor((1123 − 40 − 68) ÷ 50.4) + 1 = 21 lines. Your numbered list therefore becomes two pages: 21 entries on the first and four on the second. Download PDF includes both sheets; Download all PNG produces a ZIP containing two images.

This example counts rendered lines, not words or characters. A paragraph that wraps onto several lines uses several slots. Changing fonts, font size, spacing, margins, or paper can change the page count, so inspect the final settings before downloading.

Which fonts, paper styles, and ink colors are available?

The Font menu includes Caveat, Dancing Script, Indie Flower, Patrick Hand, Shadows Into Light, and Kalam. Compare the same short sentence in each font before choosing one for a long document. The preview uses the selected font after it loads, so you can inspect letter shapes and spacing directly rather than relying on a font name.

Paper offers White, Cream, Ruled, Notebook, Grid, and Dotted. Ruled and Notebook align nominal text baselines with horizontal rules; Natural variation can shift individual characters away from that baseline. Notebook also draws a red vertical margin and starts text 14 pixels to its right. Grid and Dotted use a fixed 24 pixel pattern, independent of Line spacing. Ink color offers Dark blue, Black, and Dark grey.

Font size ranges from 16 to 48 pixels, Line spacing from 1.4 to 2.5, and Page margin from 20 to 80 pixels. For a crowded sheet, reduce font size or spacing before reducing margins. Paper texture adds grain and edge shading; leave it off when you want a plain background.

Can you use a local font or copy your own handwriting?

Use my own font accepts TTF, OTF, WOFF, and WOFF2 files up to 10 MB. A successful load selects Your font automatically. The file is read locally, validated, and registered for this session. Reopen it after reloading the page. An incomplete file, unsupported container, or browser parsing failure produces an error instead of a usable font.

This is a font renderer, not handwriting recognition or font creation. It cannot turn a photograph of handwriting into an alphabet. Prepare an existing font file first if you want personal letter shapes. Check accented letters, symbols, and joined scripts in Preview: the tool does not certify character coverage, and drawing characters separately with variation may change how a script joins.

How does natural variation change the handwriting?

Natural variation starts at 30 on a scale from 0 to 100. At zero, the renderer draws each complete line without character jitter. Above zero, it draws individual grapheme clusters where the browser supports segmentation, adding seeded vertical movement, rotation, and opacity changes. At full strength, movement is bounded by 3 pixels, rotation by 2 degrees, and opacity by 85% to 100%.

The seed makes the variation repeatable for the same text, settings, and line positions. Shuffle chooses another seed. This helps avoid perfectly uniform placement, but the underlying font still supplies the letter shapes. It does not reproduce writing speed, stroke order, or pen pressure. Use the output for decorative notes, worksheet headings, quote cards, and invitation drafts rather than treating it as proof of handwriting.

What is the difference between PDF, PNG, and JPG export?

Export actions and the pages they include
ActionResultScope
Download PDFOne PDF with JPEG page imagesAll pages
Download all PNGOne PNG, or a ZIP for multiple pagesAll pages
This page as JPGOne JPEG imageCurrent preview page
Copy imagePNG on the image clipboard, where supportedCurrent preview page

PDF contains raster images, so its text is not selectable or searchable as a text layer. PNG preserves the rendered pixels without JPEG compression. JPG and the images embedded in PDF use a JPEG quality setting of 0.92. No export adds a watermark. The paper background is included, so PNG output is not transparent.

A4 renders at 794 × 1123 pixels and Letter at 816 × 1056. PDF converts those dimensions at 0.75 points per pixel. There is no higher-resolution export control; enlarging a downloaded image does not add letter detail. Use Image Resizer when a destination requires different image dimensions, and keep the original download.

Why do line breaks, blank input, or long documents behave differently?

The renderer measures text with Canvas measureText(), wraps at spaces, and divides the resulting lines into pages. An oversized unbroken word stays on its own line and may extend beyond the margin or canvas. Add spaces or manual line breaks, or reduce the font size. This is plain text input, with no equation typesetting or table layout controls.

Leading and trailing whitespace is trimmed before layout; internal blank lines consume line slots. Empty or whitespace-only input renders the preview placeholder, including in exports, so enter your content before downloading. There is no explicit character cap, but all-page exports collect encoded images in browser memory. For lengthy notes, keep a source copy in Online Notepad or a local document and split the input if exports fail.

Does conversion send text or fonts to a server?

The tool draws text onto browser canvases and builds downloadable PDF, image, and ZIP files locally. Bundled fonts load from /fonts/handwriting/ on this site; a font you open is loaded from its bytes without uploading it. The site's Content Security Policy permits connections only to this site. That allows site resources to load and does not mean the page makes no network requests.

Preview and export wait for the selected font to load. A missing bundled font displays an error and leaves export unavailable for that selection; choose another font or retry when the file is available. Text edits have a 200 millisecond debounce, so a brief pause before the preview redraws is expected. Review every page with Prev and Next before sharing the result.

How to Use Text to Handwriting Converter

Type or paste plain text into Your text. Preview updates automatically after a short typing delay; there is no conversion button.

  2. Font

Choose a bundled Font or select a local file with Use my own font. Wait for the font to load before exporting.

  3. Paper

Set Paper, Page size, Ink color, Font size, Line spacing, and Page margin. Adjust Natural variation, toggle Paper texture, or click Shuffle to change the variation pattern.

  4. Preview

Check the page indicator and use Prev and Next to inspect every sheet, including long words and characters from your chosen font.

  5. Download PDF

Click Download PDF for all sheets, Download all PNG for a single PNG or multipage ZIP, or This page as JPG for the visible sheet.
