Up to 50 PDFs per batch
Just one PDF? Use PDF Watermark
Runs locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or sent to a server.
Choose up to 50 PDFs, configure the shared watermark settings and select all, first, last, odd, or even pages, and click Apply to all PDFs. The queue displays each filename, page count, original size, and processing status. Text, image, color, opacity, rotation, positioning, and tiling settings apply to every document. Dynamic tokens resolve for each file and page. Download successful PDFs individually or together as a ZIP. Encrypted and broken files show individual errors while the rest continue. Your documents stay in your browser.

How Do You Apply One Watermark to a Folder of PDFs?
Bulk PDF Watermark is designed for repeated document preparation: a folder of draft reports, a set of client proofs, or separate training handouts that need the same visible label. Select the files together and configure the watermark once. The queue keeps each source document separate, so recipients receive individual watermarked PDFs rather than one combined document. Use Merge PDF separately when a combined document is your intended result.
The settings panel reuses the single-document tool's controls and state. You get the same presets, nine-point placement grid, position offsets, opacity, color, font family, weight, rotation, tiling density, and above-or-below layer choice. A PNG or JPEG logo can accompany the text or replace it when the text field is empty. Settings apply to all pages; use PDF Watermark for a live preview or a custom page range on one file.
How Do Dynamic Tokens Work Across Different Documents?
Tokens let one text template describe documents of different lengths without editing the watermark for every file. Enter {filename} — {page}/{pages} to include the source name and the current page position. For a five-page document named proposal.pdf, the first page receives proposal and 1/5; a separate twelve-page document starts again at 1/12. The output filename suffix does not become part of the filename token.
The {date} token uses a local calendar date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Its value is captured at the start of processing and reused throughout the batch. This makes a dated review stamp consistent even if processing spans midnight. Tokens are expanded by the same PDF engine used for single-file watermarking. Literal text remains unchanged, and unrecognized token names stay visible rather than silently disappearing.
What Does the Queue Tell You About Each PDF?
Each row shows the source filename, original size, page count when readable, and current status. Files begin in a reading state while their metadata is checked. A readable file becomes pending, then processing, then done. A file that fails has an error status with a message explaining the problem. The progress counter counts both successful and failed files as finished, allowing a mixed batch to reach its final total without hiding failures.
Only one PDF is processed at a time. This reduces overlapping source-document allocations compared with processing every file concurrently. It does not eliminate memory use: the selected file references, finished PDF blobs, and ZIP are retained until you clear the batch or leave the page. For large scanned documents, select fewer files and download results between groups. Cancel batch clears the current queue; completed files should be downloaded before clearing.
How Are Download Names and ZIP Contents Chosen?
Each result uses the original name followed by -watermarked.pdf. Repeated source names receive numeric suffixes so separate outputs do not overwrite each other inside the archive. Name collisions are checked without case sensitivity, and path separators are replaced to keep archive entries as individual files. The per-file download and ZIP use the same allocated name, making it easier to match an individual download to its archived counterpart.
The ZIP contains only successful outputs. You can download a completed PDF from its row while other documents are still processing. When the queue finishes, Download ZIP becomes available after archive creation. If archive creation fails because of browser memory pressure, the individual results remain available. To change the watermark, adjust the settings and run the batch again; the engine reads the original sources instead of adding another stamp to already-watermarked results.
Which Documents Need Extra Preparation?
Encrypted files are skipped rather than opened with ignored security restrictions. Broken files also receive per-file errors. Text uses the same automatic Noto Sans fallback as the single tool for Turkish, Greek and Cyrillic. Use a logo image for scripts or lettering unavailable in the bundled font. A visible watermark labels a document but does not encrypt it or enforce copying restrictions. Review your downloaded results before sharing, especially when placing a watermark below opaque page content.
If only selected pages belong in the result, prepare them with Split PDF first. Keep source documents separately so you can repeat the process with a different label later. No document bytes leave your browser during watermarking or ZIP creation, and no new account or server-side job is needed to process the next batch.
How to Use Bulk PDF Watermark
-
Choose your PDFs
Drop up to 50 PDFs into the upload area or select them from your device. Review filenames, page counts, sizes, and any reading errors in the queue.
-
Set one watermark for the batch
Enter text, insert dynamic tokens, or upload a PNG/JPEG logo. Set font, color, opacity, rotation, position, tiling, and layer using the same controls as PDF Watermark.
-
Process all PDFs
Click Apply to all PDFs. Documents run sequentially with a finished-file counter. Encrypted or broken PDFs show an error without stopping the remaining files.
-
Download your results
Download a successful PDF from its row, or choose Download ZIP after processing. Output names end in -watermarked.pdf, with collision suffixes when needed.
